Since the pandemic, I'm in the habit of walking for at least an hour everyday. I've really begun to see my neighborhood, and even though seasons don't change here like they do back east, there are many little changes.
I'm not so much interested in the "House Beautiful" scenes, (though I do like them!) but more the way human-built environments interact with nature, trying to strike a balance. How buildings frame magnificent trees, how sneaky little paths lead to teeny tiny forests. The feeling of being invited in....
